Deb Baker

​

Deb joined Community Roots in 2019, initially supporting the organisation with administration and bookkeeping after training with Community Roots as a community organiser. 

 

Over the last 25 years, she has been involved with supporting many communities of interest, including re-enactment and art communities.

​

Since joining the team her role has evolved. She now oversees the backroom functions of the company, including administration, finance, organisational systems and coordination across Community Roots’ different strands.

 

Deb is also a Senior Community Organiser, the organisation's Lead Trainer and oversees Westgate Community Corner.

 

Alongside this she works on project development, funding, reporting, training and organisational development.
